EUROASPIRE IV – coronary patients not meeting targets after hospitalisation

The large majority of coronary patients in Europe are failing to achieve their lifestyle, risk factor and therapeutic targets as set out in the latest prevention guidelines, according to findings from the EUROASPIRE (European Action on Secondary and Primary Prevention by Intervention to Reduce Events) IV survey of coronary care in Europe. Study shows failure to lower cholesterol adequately
